The South Meal was born from a shared belief that live music should be felt, not just heard.
Formed by three accomplished musicians, Varun (vocals), Goutham (Bansuri & reeds), and Jathin (keys), the band brings together decades of collective stage experience to create performances that are immersive, energetic, and deeply engaging. Each member has built an independent career in the Indian music industry, and together they have found a common purpose: to make audiences fall in love with live music all over again.
The trio has performed across India and on international stages in countries including Vietnam, Thailand, the USA, France, the United Kingdom, South Africa, and more. Their performance credits include prestigious events such as the RCB Unbox celebrations, international music festivals, and numerous large-scale concerts and cultural festivals.
The South Meal presents beloved film music across five languages, blending nostalgia with fresh arrangements, the warmth of a live ensemble, and the finesse of seasoned performers.
